Learning through play is the core of the curriculum, enriched through thoughtful application of science, mathematics, literature, and the arts, students are offered varied opportunities to explore and question the world around them – both real and imaginary. Our teachers place themselves alongside the children, posing questions that elicit imaginative thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making as they deepen their understanding of the world around them.

​Spring Street teachers plan settings that incorporate order, beauty and a wide variety of materials to build, explore, experiment and create. They tap into the spectrum of intelligences and reflect a caring commitment to children through sensitive listening, reflective dialogue and collaboration. Children’s unique talents and interests are fostered and encouraged through art, storytelling and imaginative play, which also serve as resources for further exploration and deepening knowledge.
