Hello, families! The children are intensifying their interest in reptiles and frogs and
we’ve had many discussions about what kinds of skin they have, if they lay eggs or
not, where they live, and how (and what) they eat. So if you hear anything about
these animals at home (or hear any of the silly songs we’ve been singing), don’t be
surprised! We’ve been reading lots of books about these creatures and I expect the
interest will continue for quite a while.
Other activities engaged in this past week include more Magic Milk, discovering
which colors the class likes best, exploring coffee stirrers on the light table, journal
writing, and acting out some of our favorite Frog and Toad stories.
