Hello, families!
We finally saw some really nice weather last week and spent an extra long time
outside on Friday, digging in the sand, scooter-ing, sliding, and running. I’m writing
this on a rainy day but the hot weather was a nice peek into what is sure to come
soon.
Other activities of the week included a science experiment (magic milk), journal sharing, learning about reptiles and frogs, making coffee filter butterflies, exploring the light
projector, and more. The children also played ‘nail salon’ by painting the nails of a traced hand. I’ve noticed some children ‘painting’ their nails with markers lately and thought this
activity might satisfy the urge to beautify hands. ; }
